Hammonasset Yacht Club (HYC) is located halfway between New York and Boston (about a 2 hour drive), 20 minutes from New Haven and 45 minutes from Hartford in Clinton Yacht Haven.
HYC has over 66 slips and winter storage. Members have access to all amenities of this pristine and well maintained marina including plenty of parking, heated pool, playground, clubhouse with kitchen, lounge and very clean bathrooms.

The marina is ideally situated in a weather protected area adjacent to Hammonasset Beach State park, the largest shoreline park in Connecticut, and is a 20 minute scenic journey through the channel to Long Island Sound. It offers unequal protection from hurricanes and major storms (no material damage during Bob, Irene or Sandy) and is surrounded by some of the most beautiful natural habitats in the area.
Clinton Harbor is a convenient location for day trips to the nearby Thimble Islands, the Connecticut River (Essex, Hamburg Cove), Thames River (Mohegan Sun Casino, New London), Mystic Seaport, Fishers Island, Orient Point, Port Jefferson, and many other nearby boating destinations. It is also an excellent departure port for short trips to Block Island, Newport, Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket and the ports of Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
